Assembly. Are you sure? Modern day games are never written in an assembly language. That's extremely weird.GHzGangster wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2017 7:13 pmIt's in PPC64 Assembly. Takes forever to understand even the smallest details.

It's compiled down to assembly. It was originally written in C and C++, but you can't undo the process very easily.

Oh ok. That makes sense. So basically, you don't have access to the source code.
I saw you once mention you could work on mods for in game content. How could that be if you can't modify game code? Or can these things be done in the code for your server.

Is there a repo for the assembly somewhere? You think it would be worth the effort to convert it back into C or C++?GHzGangster wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2017 11:42 pmIt's compiled down to assembly. It was originally written in C and C++, but you can't undo the process very easily.

No there isn't, and no, it's absolutely not worth the effort of converting it back.tigerchitpile wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 6:04 pmIs there a repo for the assembly somewhere? You think it would be worth the effort to convert it back into C or C++?
