Can't log in on server through OPL

Wed Oct 04, 2017 5:33 pm

Guys please help me out,
I can play the online mode flawlessly using the DVD drive, but when running the game through internal HDD and using any OPL version, i can't connect on server using my already saved network settings, so, i tried create a new network config and i get a "Hardware not connected.." error.
My PS2 Network Adapter is a genuine Sony IDE, and for some strange reason, never works when running on OPL.
Is something i doing wrong? Again, running the game through HDD. :?

EDIT: Every game with online multiplayer doesn't work when running with OPL , i tried various builds (Official and betas), none of then worked. Looks like my PS2 Network Adapter is disabled when the game is loaded through OPL via HDD. Same game running on real disc works like a charm!

There may be some setting enabled in OPL related to SMB loading or something else networking related.
Make sure all of that stuff is disabled, as the network adapter can only really be used by one thing at a time.

Thank you for the reply!
On my OPL 0.9.3 there are a few options on Network Config:

Advanced options: ON/OFF (Turning it on doesn't change anything)
-PS2-
IP Address type: DHCP/Static
-SMB Server-
Address Typer: NetBIOS/IP

I tried to change this settings just for testing but no luck, still getting "Hardware not connected..." error...
Any idea what may causing this problem?

I'm not really sure, I haven't turned on my PS2 in years, it isn't even set up anymore.
I can't help you there, sorry.
