Host Move

Okay, the last move was just changing the server IP this time I've moved to a completely different host due to the stability issues we were experiencing.

Primary DNS IP: 192.3.157.163
Secondary DNS IP: 192.3.157.164

I apologize for having you guys change IPs yet again but hopefully it won't be necessary again for awhile. On the plus side this new host is much more cost effective as we know more about our resource usage so not paying to have the server sit mostly idle anymore .

It sounds like your network is just timing out. Have you changed the DNS ip? The old server is still running see if you can connect to it.

Its concievable hat a router is down between you and the new host also. Open a command prompt and enter

Windows: tracert 192.3.157.163
*nix: traceroute 192.3.157.163

and paste the results here. You can remove the first couple lines if you're concerns about exposing your relative location.

I watched a few videos on YouTube about this. Getting a ps3 set up for this as we speak can you just confirm what's all needed for the setup to I get it all sorted thanks. I know nothing about doing jail breaking but I'm getting someone to get a ps3 for me and jailbreak it I just need to know what all needs to be on this ps3 to get me on playing mgo again

Hey, I'm new here, but I was a massive fan of MGO2 on PS3, so I'm really excited about this project! I've been following it for ages
I've been trying to set it up on PCSX2, and I've tried setting the DNS server using the network disc, yet I keep on getting a DNS failed message...
Any ideas what it could be??

I'm just going by a video I watched on YouTube saying you need a Rebug custom firmware ps3 well thats what I'm getting . There hasn't been a video in a while can you guys please sort some video going step by step of what's needed because I'm seeing all different things here

Haven't played MGO1 in a while. My PS2 Slim is getting dusty.

Changed the DNS and I got UDP port check error 518:2. Is it just like 518:1024, or is it slightly different?

I turned off my firewall, by the way.

UPDATE: Never mind. Looks like reloading the router did the trick. Just unplug the thing for ten seconds, replug, and there you go. If anyone looks up this error, this might be your solution.

Question for mr.game i know you kay not remember me but you mantis and i played in the hoedo kojima room many times on the original servers back in 2008. Anyway i was wondering would a version of gamshark higher then 4 work for the ps2 version for instance version
5 or 5.1 i dont want to waste money on the wrong disk cant wait to see you back online. "MY BROTHER!"
