If you're going to mess with the cover system, I'd just say make the pre-animation a lot faster (the one where you actually get out of cover), maybe 2 or 3 times faster, as well as the animation when you come back to the wall. There's no need for an auto cover or anything like that I feel. That kind of thing would be more of an MGO3 thing, if you know what I mean.

I spent a lot of time in prison rooms, and when 1 or 2 people got bored they could ruin the game by simply not following rules. Not a big deal when they did but maybe you could turn it into a real mode with a few custom rules.

Any other suggestion I could have is cosmetic items, which wouldnt be a concern til way later.

In general though, i think you understand that what people want is mgo2, not a new game. Replicate the feel, then you are a god.

I posted this in another thread on another site but, I'd very much like to get feedback from people on this;


Flinching: Good or bad? Why do you want it gone or changed? What can be done to make this better?

The reasoning I can see why flinching is a thing (not neckshot flinching but rather range flinching) is simply to further differentiate guns and allow for more diversity. (ie; SMGs close range, M4 Close-Medium, etc with the exception being MK2 for obvious reasons).

Would SMG's even need to be a thing?

Would diversity in weaponry be a better approach rather than keeping it simple and creating more uniformity across all weapons?

On that note, what about neck shots?

Should neckshots be counted as headshots or torso (so as to make headshots a little bit tougher to get)?
