Newly redesigned with the familiar gameplay and aesthetic styling of the acclaimed series, METAL GEAR ONLINE introduces Tactical Team Operations and features a ‘class system’ that more uniquely defines the strengths and abilities of player characters on the battlefield. As a result of the updated timing, console versions of METAL GEAR ONLINE will go live on October 6th, with the PC version set to release in January 2016.

Lots of people expected this, I'm not surprised about it.
I think this is good though, I'd rather they have more time to work on the game and polish it up, and for people to get used to the controls beforehand anyways.
The PC delay is pretty stupid though, kinda sucks.
And if it's really a separate download, looks like I won't be able to hack it in to the PC release.

the gtx 980ti is way too expensive, you should buy the gtx 970 its a very good video card value and can run TPP at ultra (btw they claim that the 970 is 4gb but its only 3,5gb) but still worth the money imo

pc version of PP is coming out on sep1 too. but mgo3 on pc is MAAAAAD late..looks like I will just buy a ps4 unless lot of people on ps3 lol..

Looks like I will be using my credit card the last week of august! I was okay with the delay for MGO online... I think its a positive thing for them to delay games nowadays... given the track record of certain AAA titles "looking at you "Arkham Knight" and MKX

Don't do that! Getting a gtx970 just for this game is ridiculous, buy a ps4 you will get a better online experience
