Re: 1.34 Launcher goes back to XMB menu
Have you made sure your ethernet is plugged in properly (if applicable), and make sure your ps3 network settings is enabled and your DNS is set to the latest addresses? What firmware are you using? Have you disabled Cobra?

Re: 1.34 Launcher goes back to XMB menu
My ethernet is plugged in correctly.
My ps3 network setting's enabled.
I input the DNS addresses that appear in the 1.34 tutorial.
Not sure what FW i'm using, how can i check?
Cobra? probably not (whatever that may be).
++thx all devs ur the best++

Re: 1.34 Launcher goes back to XMB menu
What does the PS3 logo say when it starts up? Go to Settings -> System Settings -> System information and check what version firmware you're on.
You may not know it but if Cobra is enabled the launcher usually wont work.

Re: 1.34 Launcher goes back to XMB menu
It just says PS3 when it starts up.
In the XMB Sys. info it's: Version 4.70
In multiman it says:
PS3 System: firmware 4.66 [SC-35 l PL3]
Firmware Mode: Cobra 7.00 compatible

Re: 1.34 Launcher goes back to XMB menu
So you are running a Cobra firmware 4.66 spoofed to 4.70.
If you can't disable Cobra from a toolbox (as Rebug and Habib can do) then you have to install another non-Cobra firmware to make things working on revival.

It's not working because you have Cobra mode. If you disable it it will work most likely.

Re: 1.34 Launcher goes back to XMB menu
There is a link to the 4.70 Rebug .rar links. Make sure you remove any discs from the drive before you update it.
Also, if you know how, you should remove the spoof before you update it. But I have read it's not necessary, so I'd suggest you install 4.70 Rebug and then start your PS3 in Recovery mode and Restore the File system and Rebuild the Database to make sure you have a clean, fresh install.
Once you're on 4.70 Rebug go to INSTALL PACKAGE FILES -> INSTALL -> PS3 System storage -> Rebug Toolbox
Using Rebug Toolbox, "Cobra" must be disabled and you should enable LV2 memory protection.

Re: 1.34 Launcher goes back to XMB menu
Okay, so i downloaded REX, D-REX (both 4.70.1) and REBUG TOOLBOX FULL.
Which one should be installed (REX / D-REX)? and how to install it?
i looked up some tutorials but no luck yet.

Re: 1.34 Launcher goes back to XMB menu
Enabled it, the black screen is still happening after pressing X.
When i go back into the XMB, back into toolbox its set to Disabled... as if i never enabled it! :/

With Cobra on it goes back to the XMB. I even tried the GameDataFix.pkg but no luck yet o.o
