I wanted to make some brand tee-shirts (like Nike, Palace etc) + some customizations, but I'm not sure the devs are ok with copyrighted material

Using real brands might get us in trouble, but the likelihood of that is extremely low.
At the same time though, you probably don't want to just "copy" another shirt.
