can someone halp??

I went on recovery mode but my controller is kind of ass and it wont work. it says press the PS button to get start but my controller never gets detected in recovery mode. any other way to downgrade it back to how it was??

use other control
if it didn't work then your ps3 usb is dead just like my old fat ps3

Maybe your USB cord went bad I remember I had a really hard time syncing my controller when I wanted to switch PS3s because my cable went to shit. So I got another and solved my problem.

this controller is fked up pretty sure. as soon as I hook up the wire it tries to charge it or something. controller is charged I was playing something before. tried 3 cables.

anyway so whats the step if/when I do get another controller? just install 4.70 I had before thats it?

Have you tried a different usb slot? Give that a shot but it sounds like it's your actual controller. Do the lights light up like it's charging at all when plugged in during recovery mode?

all 4 lights blink but wont register to the console. tried both ports. like I said this controller is MAD weird. it used to charge from other power sources before but now only does from ps3 when its on.

try resetting the controller. Dunno if it will work tho.... there should be a little button on the back of ps3 controller

didn;t work :(

looks like I will have to get another controller. anybody know if 3rd party/bootleg ps3 controllers should work or not? I really dont wanna buy a full priced official controller just to find out no one will be playing mgo2 anymore. its already pretty bad out there but I saw some people playing sunday.
