It gets to "authenticating" then closes back to the XMB im just assuming the server is having issues connecting

At login.....Username or password is incorrect.

Do I have to register it here or is the one I registered during MGO 2 authentication sufficient?

It took me several attempts to get a character registered, just keep at it. The server is struggling at the moment, give it some time.

I created a new login to use on 1.34, it wouldn't accept my v1.00 login.

Also if anyone is having the issue with just seeing Metal Gear Online at the top of a black screen, try installing the game data patch pkg it fixed that for me.

edit, I think the server may have crashed, just booted me out & I can't get back in.

hello, i am on 4.66 and use multiman or whatever its called. My disc reader doesnt work so im not sure how to go around this. I have the japan standalone version installed. So, i have download all those files and its showing up when i click install package files - after clicking on MGO2 lauchnr.phg


It takes me to a screen that says 'METAL GEAR ONLINE' with a black backgrond then kicks me back out and thats all i have got to so far nothing else... if someone can help me on skype and i can share screen and show you my ps3 would be cool thanks.
