Are you playing on the pc? my friend had a error 518:1 when his antivirus was turned on, and it worked when he disabled it for 10 mins. Not sure if it's the same problem, could be anything really.

That usually happens if you haven't configured the plugin, if you go to psc2 menu where you can select plugins you can configure it from there

Yes that happens with the NTSC version, the PAL version doesn't have that defect however.

Did you select and configure the plugin? If not, you have to first go to Config->Plugin/bios selector and for Dev9 in the dropdown select Gigaherzs Dev9, then click configure, check enable and select your ethernet device.

From what I understand you're pretty much almost good to go except you'll need a gameshark disc, http://gamemedia.wcgame.ru/data/2011-07-14/gameshark-ps2.jpg to enter the bypassing codes, if you have a fairly decent computer you can run it using the pcsx2 emulator in no time at all, but I understand...

okay nevermind, I figured out you have to create game, I feel like an idiot. So I was thinking, if you use the Dev9 plugin on pcsx2 and set it to route through tunngle, could essentially play online via emulated LAN on here?
